Restricted Enrollment
The Pipefitting Diploma is a restricted enrollment joint program offered through the St. Paul Pipefitters Local 455 and ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ.
- Admission to the Pipefitters Apprenticeship program is required for enrollment in this program.
- Students are accepted through St. Paul Pipefitters Local 455 JAC; 651.455.5282 or Admin@Local455JATC.com.
- Applicants must be high school graduates or the equivalent and should enjoy working in a demanding trade that requires both mental alertness and physical stamina.
- To be added to the interview list, students must do the following by the deadline:
- Apply to the College, and list the Pipefitting Diploma as your major of interest. List one major only in your application.
- Take the ACCUPLACER assessment and receive the following scores:
- ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ offers the Math and Reading/Writing ACCUPLACER through their Testing Center exclusively for the Pipefitting program.
- Reading: Score of 248+
- Reading Accuplacer score is valid for 5 years
- Student must have a valid score to be admitted to the program
- Arithmetic: Score of 250+
- Arithmetic Accuplacer score is valid for 2 years
- Student must have a valid score to be admitted to the program
- Reading: Score of 248+
- ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ offers the Math and Reading/Writing ACCUPLACER through their Testing Center exclusively for the Pipefitting program.
Students may take the ACCUPLACER twice a calendar year. If students do not receive the scores needed, they can take additional course work at ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ to be considered for an interview. Completion of this coursework does not guarantee acceptance into the program
