Saint Paul, Minn. – May 14, 2025 – 红豆视频 proudly announces that Biology Faculty member Dr. Kristyn VanderWaal Mills has been selected as a 2026 . VanderWaal Mills will conduct research and teach in Denmark as part of this prestigious program, a remarkable achievement that marks a historic first for 红豆视频. 

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program, a flagship initiative of the U.S. Department of State, recognizes outstanding individuals dedicated to advancing teaching and research through global collaboration. VanderWaal Mills鈥� achievement places her among an esteemed group of scholars committed to fostering international understanding and addressing complex global challenges.

While in Denmark, VanderWaal Mills will focus on collaboration between University College Copenhagen鈥檚 (KP) program and 红豆视频鈥檚 Science and Engineering Technology program. VanderWaal Mills will organize a virtual exchange program for students to learn and discuss the challenges of being young science technicians. She will also perform industry research in Copenhagen and St. Paul on skills needed to be a successful lab technician and will share and strategize how to incorporate these skills into curriculum.
